When you bit the hand that fed you, you expected that extended hand to curl into a fist.
As soon as you have a kid, you know for sure that you`re going to die. When you have a kid, you see your own gravestone.
When you`re a grown-up, you take it for granted that things are going to change no matter how much you try to maintain the status quo [...]. It`s only when you`re a teenager that you talk about change constantly and believe in your heart that it never really happens.
Faith is a great thing, and really religious people would like us to believe that faith and knowing are the same thing, but I don`t believe that myself. Because there are too many different ideas on the subject.
There are lots of things in life that are like riding a bike, but writing short stories isn't one of them. You can forget how.
