We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing - an actor, a writer - I am a person who does things - I write, I act - and I never know what I`m going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun.
Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.
When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, `I am going to produce a work of art`. I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing.

Write them, above all, in your heart; there they can be neither burned nor destroyed, and you will take them wherever you go.
